Dredgers were working the opposite shore claim of the "Etowah" river near Dahlonega, Ga. at this prospecting club claim.

Bobby Jr's first prospecting trip!

This stream bed is packed with sparkling when wet "mica" we got a thousand "diamonds" that Bobby found! Some rock samples are absolutely beautiful till they dry out, we did more playing on this trip than sampling! We did classify and pan two 5 gal buckets and got some fine gold cons.
