This photo is on 95 south on the bridge over Interstate 10.

"The Main Event" is the huge outdoor rock & gem fair held annually, on both sides of I-10, usually in February. If you continue south----

---you can see the "Ark" on your left as you drive south on 95 approaching the Stone Cabin, about 25 miles south of Quartsite. This wash is just over the rise on 95 at the Stone Cabin and winds all the way to the "Ark".

Erosion from rain caused this cut right through layers of old stream material so all I had to do was dig deep at the bottom of the cut. This spot could be worked with a pick easily, it is not that hard packed! I got lots of Quartz specimens and some fine gold! I saw a 60 ft section of this wash vacumed clean to bare bedrock.
